SPPRAK gets some nice publicity in Arts Illiana this month. Check out the winning entry on page 24 of the attached link!

Recently, a local group called Special People Performing Random Acts of
Kindness
(yes, that’s SPPRAK) initiated their inaugural writing competition.

According to Ben Douglas, one of the competition’s organizers, the theme
was “Downtown in the Haute.”

Wigington, who recently has gone back to school to
obtain her teacher’s certificate in Special Education, is a part-time substitute
teacher and enjoys volunteering with Community Theatre of Terre Haute.
She is currently working on a novella for her “two beautiful daughters.”

author Amber Wigington.
